Call tracking (CTM)
Connect CallTrackingMetrics so phone calls become scored leads with transcripts, summaries and attribution.
Syft integrates with CallTrackingMetrics (CTM). Once connected, every tracked call arrives as a lead event — matched to an existing lead if the phone number is known, or creating a new one.
Setup
- In CTM, go to Settings → Integrations → Webhooks.
- Paste your CTM webhook URL — from Settings → Setup Guide → section 3 — including the query parameters.
That’s it. Calls start flowing immediately.
What happens to a call
- Scoring. CTM’s own qualified/not-qualified verdict is recorded as the lead’s call score: a qualified call scores 65, an unqualified one 30. The call score is compared against your organisation’s call threshold to qualify the lead. This is separate from the 0–100 BANT score — a call can also gain a BANT score from its transcript (below).
- Transcript intelligence. If the call has a transcript, AI extracts the caller’s name and company, scoring signals (role, budget, need, timeline), the products discussed, and writes a short summary — all onto the lead.
- Attribution. The call’s session data (page, Google click ID, visitor ID) links the call back to the originating channel, and the tracking number itself can be mapped to a named source.
- Junk filtering. Calls matching your enabled auto-junk categories — recruitment, sales pitches, suppliers, tenders, wrong numbers, calls with no conversation — are marked Junk at arrival and never alert anyone.
Form captures via CTM
CTM can also capture website form submissions (its “form” events). Syft accepts these through the same webhook: contact fields come from the form name/email, scoring dropdowns are matched by their question labels, and session attribution (page URL, click ID, visitor ID) comes along automatically. If your forms post directly to the form webhook you don’t need this — it’s a fallback for sites where CTM is the only integration point.
Related settings
Two per-organisation settings shape call handling — both in Settings:
- CTM tracking number map — label each tracking number with its source (e.g. “Google Ads”, “Google My Business”) so reports show where calls came from.
- Auto-junk categories — choose which categories of call are automatically junked.
